No doubt UP’s Ayodhya has been highlighting all development activities; there are numerous exciting and forthcoming projects in the pilgrim city of Varanasi. The most anticipated one is the Tent City on the Ganges’ wider, sandy eastern bank at the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor. The town of the tent, opposite the ghats, will offer foreign and domestic tourists peace and serenity.
In October 2021, the tent city will be ready. The city can be visited by travelers for five months and then demolished and reassembled the following year. Due to the flooded banks, the town has to be removed in the monsoons. Besides, the duration of the tent town coincides with the tourist season in September.
We can now visit many more such tent cities, not just the Rann of Kutch.
The Tourism Department has been instructed to prepare the Tent City detailed project report as soon as possible to materialize quickly. A committee has been set up to set up a tent town.
The city of tents will be built along the five kilometers stretch, along the lines of the Konark natural camps in Odisha. To understand the setting up and management of the camps, authorities in Varanasi visited Konark. And a detailed report was submitted later.
